Carlson's Trunk is a steamer trunk belonging to Frank Carlson. It is located in his cabin and contains documents on the current political situation in Europe as of Spring 1912, as well as a gramophone recording of his mission briefing.

In one of the drawers in the trunk, Carlson has a cryptograph which can decode telegrams sent by Colonel Zeitel regarding the status of his trade of the Rubaiyat and the painting with Sasha Barbicon.
